Before having children and discovering my passion for birth, I went to college and received a Bachelors in Fine Art in Illustration. I took a few photography classes and really enjoyed them! I have a pretty good eye for composition.
Now I would like to combine the two into one. If you hire me as your labor doula, I can take photos and/or video if you like (but of course my first priority is hand-on care for you!). It’s totally included in your doula services fee!

Birth Photography
FEE: $40/hour capping out at $500 plus $50 for editing photos and burning a disk.
I take, on average, 400-700 photos per birth which are all yours to keep, share, and reprint as much as you want. I can upload all photos within days of the birth to a private online album where you can download high-res images or share with more impatient friends and family!
My birth photography has been featured on the cover of the AIMS Journal as well as other periodicals!

Newborn photography
FEE: $200 – For a one-hour photo session and all the photos on a disk
I also have experience in taking newborn shots, both of my own kids and of my friend’s children. I can come to you so you don’t have to get up and go anywhere postpartum! I will take pictures of the new babe, plus all family members, whatever you like!
